Thomas Corkran

Career

A native of the East Coast, Thomas is a Berklee College of Music graduate whose passion for music led him to Los Angeles. With over two decades of experience in the film and television industry, Thomas has contributed to more than 100 productions, bringing stories to life through sound and music.

Thomas is an award-winning and Emmy-nominated composer recognized for his exceptional contributions to film and television. In addition to his 2021 Emmy nomination for “Best Musical Composition” for the feature documentary “Path of the Daff,” Thomas has received numerous accolades throughout his career. His work on "Await the Dawn" earned him the 2019 October Award for Best Sound Design, as well as both the 2020 Spring Award and the 2019 Winter Award for Best Sound. He was also a 2014 nominee for the Action on Film Award for Best Sound Design for "Pretty Rosebud" and received the 2008 Award of Excellence in the Experimental category for "Café Forte." 

 

Thomas recently received the 2025 Roger Taylor - Best Original Score award for his score from the feature film “ Straight on Till Morning” from the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema.
